Day 12 Travel Home Sat 11/23/2019

ARRIVE IN THE USA

Depart Israel with memories of your experiences in the Lands of the Bible.

Our whole team waiting for boarding at Ben Gurion Airport.
We'll be taking the red-eye to Chicago tonight leaving a little before mid-night.
See if you can spot Jan, Mary, Terry, Rick, Derek, Cheryl, Nancy, Kathleen, Carol, Jane, Mary Lynn, Marilyn, Janelle, Shelly, Pastor Reiner, Sarah, Gary and Dan. Missing: Curt (taking picture), Kent, Joyce & Debbie.

Next stop: New York JFK Airport

Our flight was one hour early.
Instead of arriving at 5:35am we arrived at 4:35am.
New York, here we come!
Glad to be on home turf.
At New York our team of 22 will split off to different parts of the country.
Some to Portland OR non-stop, others to Saint Louis by way of Atlant GA and still others to Kalispell MT by way of Salt Lake City. Our group of 10 head to Chicago O'Hare Airport.

As you can see, our flight leaves at 9:40am.
Our group of 10 include Dan, Kathleen, and Derek who will catch a bus at O'Hare and head to Rockford.
Pronounced "Rock-ford", not "Rockferd". The name came when the settlers had to ford the Rock River - thus the name, Rock Ford or Rockford.

Heading to the runway at JFK bound for Chicago O'Hare.
I could see the NY skyline pretty clearly in person, but not so much in this picture.

Next stop: Chicago O'Hare Airport

Welcome to Chicago!
We arrived safe and sound in about 2 hours.
And, yes, it was ahead of schedule again!
Terry & Nancy...

Followed by Carol, Cheryl, Jan and Mary.
That's the 10 traveling from Lord of Life Church.

Exit the three for Rockford - Kathleen, Dan & Derek.

Calling for the limo to pick us up.
We are ready to go!

Last stop: Carol Koziol's Home

The way we started this journey on Day 1 is the same way we end this journey on Day 12.
In this same limo.
What a trip!

I hope you've enjoyed the journey with us as we experienced the Holy Land visually and emotionally.

Be a blessing to many as you've been blessed.

Praise the LORD!
